One of the most famous buildings in Yerevan, the former "Dvin" hotel is currently being rebranded and expanded into a multifunctional complex.
The “Shinmeqmekh” company is also involved in the large-scale construction works of the giant complex and partly carries out the installation of metal structures.
Thanks to the company's skilled engineers and craftsmen it was possible to finish the installation work of 405-ton metal constructions. This included 36 m long metal steelwork of the “Dvin” music hall, the metal structures of the hanging ceiling and attic, the metal structures of the pool. The company was also included in the digging of an elevator pit with 80 m depth at the very façade of the complex.The former hotel was also known for the Eternal Ornament, with a barrel (made by Ara Shiraz), which was also possible to recreate in the main portal of the new complex on the facade of the building. This 9 m wide and 6 m high massive stone mass was completely restored to the front of the complex due to the solid metal foundations.
